GRATITUDE…
Being able to build these boats has been a source of great pleasure for me. I often put in long days. My search for the right design for Sacred Eagle took many sketches, just as designing a building. I wonder where these ideas come from after “I stand back and look at them”. Many artist have the same curiosity and some believe that source is The Creator. I got a similar feeling after my experiences with the Eagle and the bobcat. I know First Nation peoples assign great significance to experiences like these. It now makes some sense to me after naming the baidarka and kayak after these two remarkable creatures. All this makes me very grateful to The Creator.
